Learn More About Alejandra Ibarra-Castro
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Alejandra’s passion for travel began at the age of 18. She had never been on a plane, did not know how to apply for a passport or how to navigate an airport, and took it upon herself to jump on an 18 hour flight, alone to Dubai. This trip ignited her passion for adventure. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2018 as a Communications major. Alejandra paid her way through college by participating in the rigorous summer leadership program offered by Southwestern Advantage. Alejandra has developed a key sense of detail and organization, and schedule after 10 years of leading young people through the Southwestern Advantage program. Alejandra was recently married to her college sweetheart heart, and now lives on 10 acres in the countryside of Texas. She is excited to bring her knowledge into the travel industry and is most passionate about opening the doors for young people to travel, as she saw how much of an impact it has made on her life.
